About Crystal Moschiano, PMHNP-BC, PMH-BC

I’m here to help you on your transformative journey.

I’m a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) based in New York State with over 20 years of professional experience working in mental health. I’ve been practicing as a PMHNP for the past 3+ years and have truly found my passion. I treat various conditions across the psychiatric spectrum and have a particular interest in helping women during transitional phases across the reproductive lifespan.

I graduated with my Master’s Degree from Hofstra University and am board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and shortly after went on to receive my certification in perinatal mental health. My clinical background is vast as I have worked in various settings including acute inpatient psychiatry, dual diagnosis treatment programs, and outpatient practice.

My approach to treatment is patient - centered with an emphasis on holistic well -being and happiness.

In my free time you can find me spending time outdoors in the beautiful Hudson Valley, cooking up a new recipe, and relaxing with my two fur babies.

Change is hard but not impossible.

How I work:

My integrative framework combines evidence - based practices with complementary therapies, ensuring a treatment plan tailored to you.

What might treatment include…

  • Personalized medication management is tailored to meet your individual needs. My goal is to ensure that medications are both effective and well-tolerated while working closely with you to monitor progress

  • Supportive psychotherapy focuses on providing a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions while helping to build coping skills, improve self-esteem, and foster resilience

  • My practice integrates laboratory services to ensure a comprehensive understanding of your mental and physical health. By incorporating lab results into your treatment plan, we can provide more precise and personalized care, whether it involves medication adjustments, supplementation, or lifestyle recommendations

  • Pharmacogenomic testing at my practice offers a personalized approach to psychiatric care by examining how your genes may affect your response to medications. This cutting-edge test helps to tailor treatments based on your unique genetic makeup, increasing the likelihood of finding the right medication faster while reducing the side effects

  • Lifestyle modification is a key component of a holistic approach to mental health care. Factors such as nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management play a crucial role in your overall well-being. Bt incorporating healthy lifestyle changes into your treatment plan, we aim to enhance the effectiveness of other interventions, such as therapy or medication
